"Eye Microsurgery" Federal State Institution, Kaluga

HISTORY

IRTC "Eye Microsurgery" is the most advanced diagnostic and surgical eye center. Kaluga subsidiary was found in August 1988 and it is one of 11 subsidiaries.

The subsidiary is located in the picturesque area of pine forest; it was built in a very short period by Finnish Company ''Polar''.

The first surgery was traditionally performed by S. N. Fyodorov. During 15 years of our work over 147 000 successful surgeries have been performed, more than 500 000 consultations have been given.

Our subsidiary offer full-service medical and surgical eye care. Ophtalmology operating and diagnostic rooms are superbly equipped. We offer our patients expert treatment based on the latest technical equipment minimizing the number of complications. The Service of Medical Control evaluates the quality of treatment. We offer our patients surgical procedures, conservative methods of treatment using the energy of magnetic fields.

The subsidiary treats foreign patients from Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Hungary and other countries (more than 6 000 operations).
